My Commitment to Our Community
As a mom, nurse, and community member, I understand how important it is for families to feel confident their children are getting the support, attention, and opportunities they need to succeed. Parents deserve open communication, honest conversations, and a school system that values partnership with families.
My priorities are clear: strong academics, student safety, and leadership that is transparent and accountable to the community.
Every student deserves a safe environment where they can learn, grow, and feel protected. Families deserve confidence that concerns are being taken seriously, communication is honest, and decisions are being made with students at the center, not politics, excuses, or protecting systems that are not working.
I also believe we need to refocus on academics and give teachers and staff the support they need to help students succeed. Great schools are built when we invest in classrooms, listen to families, and create clear expectations with real accountability.
East Noble has incredible teachers, staff, students, and families who care deeply about this community. I am not running to tear our schools down. I am running because I believe we can do better, communicate better, and work together to build stronger schools for every child.
Students First. Strong Schools. Accountable Leadership.
My Background and Values
I am a wife, mom of two, nurse, and proud member of this community. My background in nursing has taught me that when people trust you with what matters most to them, you listen carefully, communicate honestly, pay attention to the details, and never stop advocating for their safety and well-being. That is exactly how I believe our schools should operate.
But more than anything, my perspective comes from being a parent. I know what it feels like to send your child to school and hope they are not only learning, but also safe, supported, encouraged, and truly seen. Parents should never feel dismissed when they ask questions or raise concerns. Families deserve transparency, respect, and a school system that remembers kids are not numbers, they are somebody’s whole world.
I believe strong schools require more than good intentions. They require leadership willing to ask hard questions, review the facts, communicate openly, and stay focused on what is best for students even when those conversations are uncomfortable. Accountability is not about attacking people. It is about building trust and making sure the systems around our kids are strong.
I also believe we need to support the teachers and staff who show up every day for students. East Noble has so many incredible educators, families, and kids doing great things, and they deserve leadership that protects what is working while having the courage to improve what is not.
I am running because I care deeply about this community and believe our schools are worth fighting for. Our students deserve strong academics, safe learning environments, transparent leadership, and a school board that never loses sight of who these decisions impact most, our kids.
